New Payment Platform

The Board and Directors decided on a different payment platform for this season, requiring payment in full upon registration, due to difficulties in collecting remaining fees after registration in the past. If your child is not placed on a team you will receive a full refund of your registration fees.

Available for boys in 4th - 8th grades.
Cost per player:
$225.00 for 4th, 5th & 6th graders
$265.00 for 7th & 8th graders
The travel program is the most competitive level of basketball offered. The fee includes instruction, gym time, tournament entry fees and uniform. This program also requires parent volunteer involvement in support of their team and the organization; travel team coaches are parents!
Travel practices typically start the second week of October and end the last weekend in February. Team practices are held twice per week at various locations. Weekday evenings teams may practice at local elementary or high school gyms, or at the Whitney Recreation Center and/or St Cloud State. Some Sunday afternoon practices also occur; these are held at Whitney Recreation Center, SCSU and occasionally the College of St. Benedict athletic facility.
The number of tournaments teams compete in vary by grade level; 4th, 5th and 6th grade teams will typically participate in six (6) tournaments while 7th and 8th graders typically participate in eight (8) tournaments. These are usually one day tournaments and teams will travel between St. Cloud and the tournament site daily. All teams participate in the SCAYBA Quarry Classic Tournament in February.
Tournaments are offered throughout Minnesota by various youth basketball organizations. A sample listing of communities that offer youth basketball tournaments include: St. Cloud, Duluth, Brainerd, Monticello, Becker, Buffalo, Mankato, and the Minneapolis/St. Paul metro and suburban areas.
